Resort what would it be?

For me it would be to install a hot tub at the Poly. It is the only thing it lacks.

My favorite resort is the Carribbean Beach resort. If I could change one thing --- I would connect it to the MGM, Epcot, Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, Y&B boat ride. I know this is incredibly impractical and will never happen, but the question did not state realistic change. ;)

For me it would be connecting the monorail to the Wilderness lodge, really it's not that far out of the way

If they moved Coronado Springs to the Boardwalk area, I'd never stay anywhere else!!! LOL!!!

Add an adults only wing to every resort. Or at least to the deluxes and moderates.

Moving the All Star Sports food court to the BC.

I wish the food court, gift shop, check-in and guest services were all in one building and centrally located to all rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort.

that's the best idea I've heard yet, Deluxe resorts are awesome but they would be much better if they only had a food court like DxL or CBR. It's the one thing that makes staying at a moderate so appealing is the fact that they have full service restaurants and a food court

The only problem I have at the Poly(and from what I hear its the same at all the deluxes) is that there is no screen on the sliding doors. I would love to be able to keep the doors open to sleep(not on the ground floor, of course). Im big on fresh air at night, not AC. I wont even let DH put an AC in our bedroom, because I dont want to lose out on 1 window. Not to mention it would be nice to get some fresh air while in the room during the day too.

have whirlpool tubs in the room, also have a little kitchen type area (like the studios) in the Polyn.

Adding somewhere for a quick meal at the Beach Club (other than Beaches & Cream...which is way to small to accommodate everyone).

If I could change one thing about the YC, our favorite resort, it would be to magically make it somehow closer to home! Say maybe 10 hours away instead of 18. This way we would be able to visit more than once a year!;)

The Grand Floridian... ...improved valet parking (I would like not to have to sit in my car for 10 minutes after pulling up everytime waiting for someone to come over and get it!).

That's an easy one for me. My favorite resort is my DVC home at BWV I love this resort, location, amenitites, etc but I love the 1 BR at OKW because of their great size, so.....my one wish would be to move some of the 1 BRs from OKW to BWV.

Cali, you should use the self parking at gf, if you think the valet is bad! It is a great calf work out "calf's of steel the gf way" OK my choice of what I would change has to be roll back the prices of all the resorts, they have astronomically went up in the last 10 years. I would gladly give up the "code" wars and just pay a nice reasonable rate! MKY

LOL, mky! Haven't used GF self parking since 1998 (and probably never will again! LOL, that walk is just TOO long!).

I 2nd the motion to add the monorail to the Wilderness Lodge. It will be our first time staying in Disney without the monorail right at our resort.

I also 2nd the motion about putting screens in the sliders. I would love to leave my slider door open and get the nice fresh air instead of being in constant A/C.

Definately add full food courts to the deluxes. Having stayed at deluxes and moderates, I much prefer the moderates based on the convenience of the food courts. I don't consider roaring forks or the food & fun center to be a food court.

It was be awesome for Fort Wilderness to have a themed pool.

DeeP - yep, OKW rooms at BWV
gannonmbpk - yep, food courts at deluxe properties
ducklite - I'm not there yet, and I don't want to rush things, but an adult wing at deluxe (DVC) properties sounds great

Screens would be a good thing to, I still sleep with the door open, we haven't had a problem. I do get nervous if we are on the 1st floor, I always check under the bed for snakes when I wake up:)
