I have been trying to get into FW for Christmas week, for a couple of months now. I keep getting the same "Sorry, none available." We are booked at Tropical Palms, and are happy with it, as we have stayed there a couple times before. However, I am really concerned that we won't be able to get into a park on NYE, without staying on-site. It would also be nice to be able to use WDW transportation that night, to avoid the traffic jam. If any of you are planning on cancelling a trip for this week, or even part of it, before NYE, PLEASE let me know. I'm getting desperate.

I had the same problem last year, all of the dates I needed to complete the stay opened up at the 60 day window.
We were persistant and it paid off.

If you don't mind me asking, what type of site did you get and for what dates. I'm glad you had better luck.

I'm about ready to change my user name to "discouraged".

Hang in there, I know it can be discouraging, sites will open up.
even when we were there we saw vacancies.
We ended up being in the 500 loop on a preffered site from Dec 21st through Jan 2. My first choice would have been for a standard site. we were told that they go first (dont know how accurate that info was)
persistance will definetly pay off.

I called again today. They had a partial hook-up available, but we have an RV. Thanks for all the encouragement. I need it. If only WDW offered another option with pets. Please don't be offended, but a kennel doesn't even qualify as another option, IMO.

I'm so excited! I got it!!!!! I called around 2:30 today, and got a very helpful CM, who spent over 45 minutes trying to piece together a trip for me. After checking every combination possible, he was able to find the 23rd & 24th on a full hook-up, and the 24th & 25th on a preferred site. That was it, but it was a start right? No! By the time he pressed the confirm button, he was no longer able to get it. You can imagine my disappointment to think I had 4 nights, then I had none.

Well, I must have had a little pixie dust on my side, because when I went to download the spreadsheet that KCMiller so kindly sent me, I noticed I had an email from WDW. Of course, I had to check it immediately. Surprise! Surprise! I was confirmed for the 23rd & 24th. I then called CRO, and was told that I also was confirmed for the 25th & 26th. I hadn't given a CC #, thinking that I didn't get the reservation. While I was giving her my CC info., I explained to her what I was trying to do. Of course, being the kind, and helpful CM that she was, she got busy trying to get me a few more nights. Imagine my surprise, when she said she could get me the preferred site from Dec. 25th thru Jan. 2nd. I still wasn't able to get the 23rd & 24th on the same site, but I still have a site, and I'll keep calling and hoping for the best.

Sorry, this was so long, but I just had to share my story of WDW "magic".
