I am not a big fan of the D23 thing but I thought I would pass along some information...

Disney Movie Rewards lets you redeem your points for a D23 pin or a D23 necklace and charm sorta thing. I went ahead and redeemed my points for them. There is a small limit on both and I didnt see anything about proving you are a D23 member to get it!

I think it was 1000 points for the necklace. I want to say the pin was 250 but it could have been 500.

How do you find the Disney Movie Rewards club in general?

I have wanted to join but haven't joined because I don't see any real discount. Get a couple movies free and buy the rest at $20.00 or more. That isn't a discount.

I just can't figure out why these companies don't think in volume. I am not going to buy any dvd for $20.00. But if I can get dvd's for $5.00 or less, I'd gladly agree to buy hundreds.

No, not the movie club. Movie rewards This is www.disneymovierewards.com where you enter the codes you can find in your Disney DVDs and Blu Ray movies (that you can purchase anywhere) to accumulate points that you can eventually trade in for merchandise.

You can just go to disneymovieclub.com to sign up.

At first, it doesn't really seem like much of a value. But, once you fulfill your committment over ( I think it's 1 or 2 years) of a certain number of DVD's, they offer some really great discounts. Some months they'll offer a deal that if you buy one movie full price, you get the rest at half off. I really take advantage of these specials, as I get sick of sspending 20 bucks at Best Buy for my movies.

The D23 necklace with pendant costs 1000 points and doesn't seem to have a limit.

On a side note, if you buy Pinocchio, you get 125 points and 125 bonus points if you enter the codes soon.

I just redeemed some of my point balance for the pin too. Thanks for the tip. We are buying Pinocchio tomorrow or Friday, so we will grab those bonus points, too.

I joined the D23 thing....where does it say that there is a limited number of pins in the boutique...I don't see anything about that

cchev, you didn't read my post. I never said a thing about the boutique. The thread's for people who are members in the Disney Movie Rewards club. you can redeem your points for a different D23 pin.
