Do you HAVE to order an adult meal? Can we pay OOP for a kids meal and save the adult TS credit for a different meal? Or, can she use my 3 y/o's child TS credit if he isnt eating?

Let's say we dont have the dining plan. Can she order off the kids menu?

She doesnt always want a big adult meal and often will order from the childrens menu elsewhere.

Thanks for the help! :)

Yes, you can order a child's meal and pay OOP for her. Many people save credits for additional TS meals, 2 credit signature meals or the dinner show.

If prefers to order from the child's menu because nothing on the adult menu appeals, you can ask if the restaurant will serve an adult sized portion so that you can use the TS credit.

If you're not on the dining plan you can order whatever you wish.

Once in a while someone will post that one of the non-Disney owned restaurants would only allow children to order from the children's menu, but that is very rare. You can always ask before ordering.
