And.......I like how he had to get measured on day two in case he had grown a 1/2 inch overnight. Although, as quickly as they grow I guess it wouldn't be impossible.

Thanks for the SW review, it looked awesome! We are planning on going to SW next trip (May 2011) and are staying off site to force us to go this time!!

It is lots of fun. You'll love it. I know what you mean. Once we're on Disney property it's very hard to tear ourselves away.

Hey Lisa! What brings you over here? Hunter was in heaven at Sea World. So hands on and he could ask all the questions he wanted. You know what it's like to have an animal lover. Yes, he had really hoped that he grew overnight. He was asking me for tips! LOL!

Our day at Sea World was in full swing! It takes a little planning to catch all of the shows. Especially off season when the shows aren't as often. They have a buy 1 day, get the 2nd for free deal and it's definitely necessary. Just know that you can't just show up the next day. You have to go to customer service for a voucher. Anyways, it was time for one of our favorite things. The Clyde and Semour show!! It's so cute and has just the kind of dumb humor my family enjoys. We have it on video from the last time we came here (2004) and Hunter loved watching it.

I loved this sign! It cracked me up.

This show was kind of odd with some acrobatics and stuff. My mom and Megan liked it though.

We split up for a bit so Hunter and Dave could ride Atlantis. Megan decided to strike a pose and ride the carosel.

Where to next Megan?

We decided to end our day with the killer whale show, "Believe". Megan was in awe in her splash zone resistant coat!

It was a wonderful day, and now it's time to check into Bay Lake Tower and start feeling some Disney magic!! Woo hoo!!!!

You know part of the reason that I had trouble getting into that show is that on stage the guy reminded me of a thinner Chris Farley so I kept giggling at him dancing around! Ever seen the Chippendales skit w/ Patrick Swayze?

I know. I sure am taking my sweet time in my Disney trip report getting to Disney huh? I've always wondered how the different Sea Worlds vary from eachother. I bet the San Diego one is great too.

Erika, that guy is hilarious!!! He snuck up behind this older lady and "replaced" her husband. He had his hand on her shoulder and she didn't notice until she was half way up the stairs and noticed people laughing at her. It was the best!

When we last left off we were leaving Sea World after a beautiful, fun filled day. Now it's time to really put our faith in the GPS, because never have we NOT gotten lost driving in Disney. Hence, why we park for the week and take the bus. So we're on our way and I'm getting so excited. Sea World is fun and Florida is great, but nothing puts the excitement in high gear like driving under "The sign" and checking into your Disney resort! Soon we were driving into the Disney bubble. Our home of little worries, no bills, no gas stations or fast food restaurants. No work or appointments. Just fun, fun, fun!

Before we knew it we were pulling into the Contemporary parking lot. I couldn't believe we were here. I never thought we'd ever be able to stay in a deluxe resort. I was so excited to get checked in and see what room we got. Let me also tell you that I didn't tell my mom much about Bay Lake Tower so I was very excited for her to see it. Dave pulled up to the front and I hopped out. The lobby was bustling with convention looking people, but no lines to check in. The CM typed away, then got on the phone. He was checking on my room request. North side, even floor, higher than the 6th floor. Fingers crossed... "I'm sorry. We are unable to fill your full room request." Sigh. That's ok. As long as we were on a higher floor on the North side (lake view) I was happy. I knew having a view of the castle was a long shot. I finished checking in and hopped back in the van. We drove over to Bay Lake, scanned my card and walked in the lobby. Now what? No people, no luggage cart. It is kind of weird that there is no one for customer service. Luckily the DVC lady was still there and she called over for a luggage cart. Now wouldn't it make more sense to TELL someone that when they are checking in or the men who help you outside of Contemporary who knew where we were going? It is just kind of odd. The lady asked how many bags we had. I guessed 7.

Dave headed back out and I booked it down the hall. Keep up kids and Grandma!!! I was so excited!!! We go up to the 9th floor, walk to the end of the hall, find our room and open the door. Woo hoo! We're "home"!

Dave finally made it up with a CM and a luggage cart loaded down. Apparantly my 7 bag estimate was a tad low. The CM and Dave made fun of me as they unloaded the cart. By now it was about 7:45. Almost time for Wishes so we need to find a place to go watch. We check out our view before we head out...

Woo hoo! Magic Kingdom view baby!!!!!!! To the left we could see the castle and space mountain. Striaght ahead was the edge of the lake. I teared up. Everything seemed so perfect as we stood on our balcony, Wishes music blaring on the TV, watching these fantastic fireworks. So what's a girl to do? Call her DIS friends of course! I talked to Michelle (mkluvsmickey) while I watched the show. Let the Disney vacation begin!

After the fireworks we were very hungry so we decided to grab some food at Contempo. (I think that's what it's called) We had to figure out the ordering computer system first. Kids got the normal kid stuff, mom and I split the chicken alfredo and Dave got a turkey and bacon club. Ours was comparative to a microwave dinner and we didn't finish it. Dave's was so good. I don't eat potato chips much, but they were so good too. Next we decided to check out the stores.

This was the first of many things Megan wanted to buy during the trip. She loved this little Marie kitty.

We were getting very tired by now so it was time to hit the sack. We had a big day planned. The next morning we all enjoyed the view.

Yay for BLT! I think you got the best of both worlds with your view, both Bay Lake and Magic Kingdom! I would have had a hard time leaving the resort I think. Makes me wish I could buy DVC right now. I have heard negative comments about the lack of CM's in the lobby which just seems so odd. Maybe they will change that in the future.

Love the hat pictures in the gift shops.

I know! I can't figure out what floor has what view. We lucked out! This was the first time I've got the shot. Last time I had the camera in one hand and the video camera in the other. When it was time to take the picture I pushed the button and turned it off! GRRRR.

I can understand about not having someone in there at the lobby I guess, but 2 different CMs knew exactly where we were going, that we were new to the resort and we had our own vehicle. They should have told us. It was just odd. I guess there are phones if you need help, but it lacks the customer service.
