Somehow I am looking for hope in this March trip.
Lost my job 2/8. Bam!
Lost it while I was having asthma and lung infection issues....compassionate, right?
I got sick the Friday before and the boss said, go to the dr., get well. I came in Monday for an important client presentation and we went out together.
Thought it was odd she "badged" me into the building....within the hour I got the news and I guess my badge had already been disabled.
I know we all have battles we can't choose-
In the past 5 years we've lost BIG jobs, almost lost the house, moved across the country to get stable work (HA!). Beat Kidney Cancer and fought depression. Then last night our college age son's job ended when the restaurant he served at for the last 3 years just up and closed.
The job hunt is dicey.
I have to see the light as being the way out, not the train heading toward us!
We'll recharge our batteries while visiting with our Florida family, when they join us at OKW it is always a rich experience in the true sense.
I will say a prayer for all these folk in the area and hope we are in their prayers too!
