If we drive to AK before checking in hotel?

I have a quick question. We will be driving to Orlando on June 4th and staying off site our first night. We plan to go to AK our first day and were planning to drive straight there that morning and spend time in the park before going to check in at BWV. Will we have to pay to park there? We have park hopper passes if that makes a difference. Are there any other suggestions? Should we go to BWV first? I really wanted to be at AK as soon as it opens. Thanks for any suggestions.

You will have to pay to park if you aren't checked in at your resort.

I would go to your resort and check in. Then you could head off to the parks. They will give you the parking pass then you won't pay for parking. When you get back to your resort you won't have to revisit the front desk.

You will have to pay for parking. However, if you retain your parking stub, and present it upon check in, they can reimburse you for parking.

I personally would check in 1st, you have a better chance of getting a more desirable room and also insuring it is ready for you when you are done at AK. Just leave 30 or so minutes earlier than you were planning on and go to BWV before you go to AK, you can still be at the AK before it opens.
