can we still leave the park and return to the same park later in the day?

Disney has added on a few EMH nights while we will be at DW. Both days that we will be at Epcot and MK, there will be EMH in the evenings so we were thinking of going to the park early that morning, then taking an afternoon break at our hotel, and then going back to the same park that evening for dinner/fireworks/EMH.

Just curious if this is possible?

Yes, you can leave the park and return to it the same day. Be sure to get your hands stamped as you leave the park, and hang on to your tickets.

As a side note, I usually get my hand stamped when I leave regardless of the time or if I'm coming back -- I just think it's fun!

Thotfulspot - thank you for replying. Now, I just thought of something - will the stamp wash off in the shower? We are going to shower and change before we come back to the park.

Nope, the stamp stays visible under ultra-violet light for at least that day, even with showering. If you plan on showering with bleach or an industrial-grade solvent, you might want to double-check with the CM who stamps your hand!

No stamps for us last week. I think they're obsolete with the new biometrics in place.

Which means.. Be sure to write the names on the tickets. They'll need to match up with the original user.
