Do you know what our guide told us on our recent MB contract? We are selling back 2002 points (OCT UY). We get a new set of points in Oct . The maint. fees start from the day he enters the contract into the computer, but it is pro-rated for our 2003 points.

That's exactly how it has always worked DC. Maintenance fees are prorated from the time you buy and you'll still get the points from the most recent Use Year.

Just to be clear--maintenance fees go by calendar year. You will pay your 2003 dues based on the remaining days in calendar year 2003. No matter what your use year, you will pay the same dues for calendar year 2003.

Right. For some reason, it is a little confusing with an Oct UY (for me, anyway) and I really have to think about it. Though, I suppose UY is really irrelevant with the dues going by calendar year. I was originally thinking with selling back my 2002 points that I would have to pay double maint fees this year (one for 2002 and one for 2003).
This MB program they have going now really seems to be a really good deal!
