I am really worried that VA are going to strike...I cant seeing it getting solved and its driving me insane. I know the people on the DIS will understand how upset I am with the prospect that my holiday might get cancelled. My friends don't understand at all :headache:
According to some websites the first proposed date of strike action could be the 27th of June... I'm due to fly on the 28th. I know it hasn't been confirmed yet...but with my luck at the moment anything is possible... :scared1:
What happens if they cancel my flight? Would they be able to let me take my holiday at a later date? Would I lose all my money?
As you can see...I'm panicking. I feel like all the fun of planning has been ripped out of me as I don't want to jinx my holiday and plan any more :sad1:
Sorry for my rant, but I know you guys will understand my worry :guilty:

I really sympathise .. You must be feeling awful :(.
I can't see them getting to a strike, Branson won't want bad publicity, I think they'll do their best to settle this before they get too far, the virgin reputation is to big to risk, I'd just sit back and try to forget it for now, carry on planning as usual, and don't pay attention to anything until it's 100% confirmed.
If it DID go ahead, I would think virgin would offer alternative flights or a reduced service, I doubt all their planes would be grounded, at worst you may suffer bad delays on the outbound.
These are just my gut feelings, and hopefully will reassure you, .. Hopefully someone with insider knowledge will come along and confirm my thoughts.
Try to put it to the back of your mind for now x

Thanks, I am going to try and put it to the back of my mind. Just going to focus on my exams and hope that VA can sort it out without the need for strikes...its just a load of stress I could really not do with at the moment. Lets all stay hopeful. :thumbsup2
:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: and a little bit of pixie dust into the mix :goodvibes
