If using the GAD Fast Pass option, can you still use your admission cards (KTTW) to get regular fast passes as well or will inserting the card automatically count against your GAD fast passes?

I hope my question makes sense. I guess what I am wondering is --- let say we go up to Space Mountain and use GAD fast passes but then we also want to get "regular" fast passes to come back later can we do this?

At first I thought when redeeming your GAD certificate for the fast pass option you would get a separate card for the fast pass machines but now after reading posts it seems like they scan your KTTW card and that you just use that. If that is the case then it doesn't seem like you could get regular fast passes on top of the GAD fast passes - right? Or am I completely confused....

Yes, you can still use your park ticket to get FPs as usual. The GAD FP cards give FPs with an immediate return time, and you can use them even if the regular FPs are gone for the day.

You get a separate card to use for GAD FPs (one for each member of your group, up to six, but people have reported getting more).

Thank you! This is where I got confused. In reading other posts I was getting the impression that the GAD FP option was put onto your park ticket, since people were saying that they swipe everyone's KTTW card when redeeming the GAD certificate. I missed the part where they give you a separate card.

They swipe the tickets to make sure they are valid for admission (so someone doesn't come up with six old tickets and say they need six FP cards for their group).

Have fun! We used both our GAD cards as well as our park tickets to get fastpasses at many rides. Instead of having everyone stand in line, I took all the cards/tickets and got all the fastpasses. I did have one crabby person at Soarin' making snide comments about how many passes I was getting...but I was just extra nice to him in return. LOL
