It was amazing especially being in our first park for a whopping 5 minutes before getting Dreamed.


I do have a sad update: Jenna is not going to be able to meet us in Disneyland. Nate has a hunting trip already scheduled during the time we'll be gone. She also hates to fly and just feel she can't without another adult. We'll miss her and Emma but we'll see her this summer anyway.

They are SO addicting. I started mine so far out that I have friends who refuse to post until it gets closer. I am glad you are doing well.

I just wanted to add as a side note, my DS had the BEST kinder teacher last year that sparked his love for learning. He had done 2 years of preschool and was so-so about it but Mrs. Ewing was UNREAL. So kudos to you for all you do!

You are a sports nut! DH is too. I simply do not get it. We did just buy season tickets for the SLC Bees or Buzz, some stinging insect, a minor baseball team. They serve really big beers!

You have no idea. I work at a hospital in their lock up adult psych facility. I am a therapist. It's another one of those jobs that people are either meant to do or not. You can only learn so much from a book. It's totally hands on.

More DVC points? Nate Major never ceases to amaze! I don't think he's trying to get rid of you, he just wants you to have FUN! And you are going to miss out on a lot of fun. But really since you are going to WDW in June, it's not like you are having to wait forevah for a Disney fix!!!! I'll miss you tons but totally understand and empathize with that fear of flying too.

You have a hard job! You must be so dedicated and a great listener. I could never do it. I volunteered at a hospital in college and ended up in the psych ward by accident. I haven't been that scared since Cinderella Castle looked like an ugly pink birthday cake for the
25th anniversary.

Your ADRs look sublime. You are going to the Wishes Cruise! That is one of my favorite parts of our first trip. It's so magical! I haven't been to almost any of your ADR choices. Too bad you'll be going after me, I won't get a nice review first.


I wouldn't be able to sleep if I watched that haunted schit. I saw the Amityville Horror as a child and didn't sleep for 2 weeks. The Excorcist still gives me nightmares! You are one brave cookie. I bet Donny loves when you hug onto him during the really scary parts.

Its great that you've given the Wishes Cruise a big as this is my dream end to my birthday celebration and I will be so upset if it is dissappointing.

You guys did some amount of blethering while I was being scared witless by the ghosties. It was a fabby episode last night, ghosts of witches and devil worshipers causing mayhem . To be perfectly honest I am the biggest scaredey cat when it comes to horror movies (I can only watch Vampires..nothing else!!) but for some unknown reason I LOVE ghost hunting programmes. Probably because the vast majority of it is a load of old rubbish and gives me a laugh.

Jenna it's such a shame you're not doing DL but you have one hell of a man (DVC points to make up for the disappointment ).

PS I've just got the new Disney Panning DVD through , it's probably the same as last years but hey it's exciting getting mail with a picture of the castle on

I food porn too! I tried to take pictures of the food at WDW and that's when DH said he had to draw the line. He said he could handle the laminated itineraries and ADRs up the wazoo but NO WAY was he going to wait to eat so I could take a picture. He's a hater.

I promise you will love the cruise. And the on board isn't bad looking either. Really both were quite handsome.


I got the new DVD too but I didn't notice any obvious changes.

Let me tell ya, after the mess I walked into this morning at work, it's all that's keeping me sane! Being understaffed with high acuity patients is not my idea of fun. Plus I have to do the crisis calls in the ER which I am not that great at.

I realy admire you for working in that area . Becci's dad is a paranoid schizophrenic and I have a slight idea of how strong you must have to be to deal with people with mental illness problems on a day to day basis . I found it hard enough dealing with crazy passengers and staff when I worked for BA

And as if I need another trip to plan: Jenna and I have solidifed our summer Yellowstone trip!!! Even the boys had input! Now I need to figure out the days so I can add it to my countdown.

The plan: Thy are going to drive to Utah, spend two nights, and then we'll caravan to Yellowstone. We are renting 2 one room cabins. That's about as close to actual camping that Jenna will do. We will have to share bathroom and shower facilities and there are BBQs for grilling. We'll also have an indoor pool. We'll spend 4 nights/5 days in Yellowstone and then drive home.


We are also planning Disneyland 2010 together!!!

Were you a flight attendant?

When we were together he was very patchy about when he took his meds and when he didn't. I don't know what the score is now because his family are very secretive and creative with the truth but in October he really lost the plot when Becci was staying with him and frightened her big time. He's not been that great since and to be honest she doesn't want to spend much time with him. The big problem is that he's a bit of a control freak, very aggressive and thinks Becci's one of his possession and with her going through the adolescent thing it's fireworks all the way. It's a bit of an on going problem but she's a strong girl and with plenty of support hopefully she'll stay that way. Sorry that's probably way too much info for a Tuesday afternoon...you know me and my verbal outpourings.

No I wasn't a trolly dolly, I did the very unglamorous ground staff thing and then I moved into administration (crew rosters, H & S, pay returns, you know all the exciting stuff ) When BA were closing the base at Glasgow we were offered crew but I like to go home to my girls at night and to be honest I'm with Jenna on the flying thing, I dont let it stop me going places but I hate it with a passion (I can't believe I said that with 16.5 years of service for an airline under my belt )
