If someone points their finger in your face...

How about putting the "bite" on them?

Oh dear! Many years ago I was in the middle of a "heated" discussion with my DH. He stuck his finge in my face, and without thinking I bit him. I have no idea who was more shocked, him or me! In over 25 years, he has never done that again, so his fingers are safe! LOL!

I have also learned that I need to think before I bite.

That's sad. I'm part of a society that takes responsibility for the community. It's not based on anything religious, just the understanding that as human beings living together we can make that community better by caring about each other and helping out as much as we can. I also couldn't live with myself if that finger-pointing whackadoodle escalated with the next person and hurt/killed that person.

Oh my word, walking away from a dolt who is waving a finger in your face is not taking responsibility for society? It is my opinion that the best lesson any of can learn is when to walk away.

I would never do that to someone but I can imagine many of the posters here doing that figuratively with their posts when they become unhinged at opinions different from their own.
So is that what you just did? Lol.

OOOOO A zombie thread.

5 out of 10 zombies said if someone points a finger in their face, they eat it.
4 out of 10 zombies said they'd still go for the brains first.
One zombie started pouring pepper and salt on our fingers. So we ended the survey and left quickly.

YOU! just had to 'point' that out and, spoil all the fun. Fwiw, I'd hold up both hands index fingers extended, thumbs holding other possible offenders down AND, back away s l o w l y.. Saying, Sorry 'cause that's what Canadians do.

If it is close enough to make me have to take any action to avoid contact with my face, eyes, nose, mouth....
Yes, I feel that it is okay, and possibly would if I felt that it was warranted or necessary.

If somebody is poking their big nasty finger THAT close to my face, yes I feel that this would be an aggressive action.

No, and in my case it's usually followed by " I pay your salary". Yeah here's your yearly contribution, about 86 cents, now back up.

I love it when a zombie thread pops up.

Even if it wasn't okay, I'd swat the finger out of my face anyways.

I've noticed that some really get bothered by zombie threads and like it to point them out. I don't care or even notice really. If it's interesting to read I'll read the thread. Who cares how old the thread is.

BIngo, dr!

I don't equate to pointing it out to be bothered by it. I mean the same thing could be said to those of you who comment on others pointing it out. Are you bothered?
