Umm- sorry to be ignorant: are the fires near WDW? Someone fill me in please. I'd hate to leave in 8 days only to find out I'll be driving through fire or worse yet- traffic and closed roads!!

There was a fire by Seaworld yesterday. It is raining in Florida today and they are expecting more rain for the next 4 days. I think in 8 days you shouldn't have any problems. Have a magical trip!!

we just returned last night after 11 days in Disney and the only time we saw any sign of smoke was near the airport. Other then that it was very very dry weather and I can understand the concern of the poor residents of Florida. They do need rain
