I use photoshop elements & then you can buy 'kits' (digital so you can reuse to hearts content). The best 'Disney' kits (in my opinion) are by Kellybell Designs & Brittish Designs. My favorite 'everyday' kits are from Sweetshoppe Designs.

Little bit of a learning curve on working photoshop but there are lots of tutorials out there (for free) that help. If you ever decide to give it a whirl, I can give you some basic tutorials too... and then your creativity (which you have loads of) can take off from there!!

The race does look really awesome! I love night races (over morning ones) and you can't beat the villians!!!

Yes the character lines were long and did not seem to move fast from what I saw! I did not stop....this being my first race I was too worried about the finish line!

I have 12. I just had to buy it because my old laptop died and Photoshop would not let me reinstall my previous version on the new computer.

I had 10. I MUCH prefer 10 to 12. There are some things in 12 that annoy me & I can not seem to fix. For instance, pulling in any element into the layout it resizes the element to page size. So like I'll pull in a flower & it's 12x12 size. And I have resize. Before it pulled in scaled size. I'm sure there's a way to fix this- but I can NOT figure it out & can't find it online anywhere.

Wine & Dine lines seem to go pretty fast. I remember I had to stop for Jack Sparrow (Because...swoon!)..and it was pretty long but it went rather fast. I do plan to stop more for ToT because I'm not concerned about my time. My goal will be stay ahead of the balloon ladies!

I think it depends on where you are in the pack. At the start of the race, I saw a few people in line for the first couple characters. As the race went on it was not uncommon for me to not see a single person in line.

Based on what you indicated as your running time...expect lines I saw a few lines for more popular characters like Queen of Hearts atleast 20 people deep...the Evil Queen as the old hag was CRAZY long as was jack from nightmare!

Just keep you eye on time and prioritize who...you will be fine! No where did I not see a line of atleast 10 people!

At the party we walked up to most characters...lotso was all by himself! The stepmother and stepsisters Wait was 10 minutes and darth was the longest wait at almost 20...the line was huge! The closer to the end of party most were walk ups! But also fewer characters out...I was a crazy one that stayed till close!

I was sick and not feeling it, so it didn't matter all that much anyways- I just don't remember seeing anything or hearing anything about it in the after party!

If the characters/props are similar to last year- then I have my list of priorities already! So excited...........

I think we may be going for 5 years straight and see if we get a little something extra, are you going for 5 as well?

The character lines I saw during the race were mixed. No one was getting a picture with the FOTLK animals. I waited behind 4 people for the ballroom dancing ghosts. Jack's line, as someone else said, was huge.

Scar and the hyenas had a long line, I think I remember the hag having a long line but we saw her at a MNSSHP a few years ago so we didn't worry about it.

I think the zombie sports people had maybe 5-10 people in line. It sounds like the farther back you start the longer the character lines are.

For the after party....we probably waited 10-15 for Darth. We saw Shan Yu leaving so I asked when he'd be back out and we were line 5 minutes before he came back and were 3rd. The Tremaines had maybe a 10-15 minute wait. I don't think anyone knew where Lotso was so his line was short. He was back in Pixar place in a corner.

Like I mentioned above- I don't think the character lines were crazy at any of the stops.....

That was a hard race for me (my first- had a migraine, lots of self-doubt) but the course is AMAZING running through 3 parks. That helped the miles go by much easier! And I actually prefer night racing vs. morning racing.. so that was good for me too! Although it was hotter & more humid than I expected. Good training for the Tower of Terror I guess......

And excited you'll be at the PHM. Sounds like a pretty awesome group is going to be there!! I can't wait to meet up with everyone!!!

I definitely think that what corral you start in had a lot to do with it. I started with only 1000 people ahead of my corral... another 500 in. (finished 1438) I think this played into why I did not see long lines and even saw no one in some. I remember turning onto oceola after leaving WWOS. The characters were just watching everyone as we passed. I thought of stopping... and I looked around at everyone around me and we all had the same look of... "no, just keep going" At that point, there were not huge packs of us on the road. However on the other side, about to hit the woods... it was like a scene from the walking dead. The mass crowd of people there. I am sure that with the added bodies on the other side of the road... they probably saw a lot more in the way of lines.

Of course it is going to be an awesome group of sweet ladies on a sugar high singing at the top of their lungs at JellyRolls! I love that we all focus on our displeasure for running onto good things like cupcakes and meeting new people!

Oh I'm going to have to read that TR! I'm excited about running through three parks and the Osborne Lights. I did the first TOT and that had to be the hottest, most humid night race ever! My tech clothes were soaked in sweat before mile 3!

PHM is going to be amazing! We're going to have a blast and you most definitely need to join us for a crazy cupcake crawl. The way I see it that makes one more stomache to help eat all the cupcakes!
