If no Magic in summer '05 how about Glory?

I am going to take my family on a seven day cruise July of 05. I want to cruise Disney in a Cat 3 but if they move her west I guess my next best opion is the Carnival Glory, due to location and itinerary. Has anyone ever sailed her and what should we expect being past Disney Wonder cruisers(3). I hope Disney leaves her on the east coast where she belongs.

I wanted to book the Magic for next August but I doesn't look like it will happen.

Now I'm looking into to Carnival. I'm trying to decide between the Glory, Victory, and Truimph.

My first choice was the Magic for a long carribean cruise in the summer of 05, I am awaitnig the annoucement on May 5th, but due to expected price nad location in Califorina it looks likly I will be looking at another cruise line such as Carnival or RCCL.

My first cruise was last August and it was on the Glory. I did not go with my children, but with my Mom, Sis, 75 yr. old Aunt. We had a blast! I cannot tell you anything about the kid's clubs. I can tell you that the service was great and so was the food. The ship was beautiful and there were many activities going on. I hope this helps.

I really hope they do not go west. Beside going down to Mexico, what is the fun in that. The Pacific is not as clean as the carribean and there isn't CC................ Come on Disney annouce a new ship for the west and keep the Magic east for 05

We're planning for end of May '05 when Kids are out of School. If the Magic goes West, it could be either the Glory or RCCL Mariner for us. It will certainly be less expensive.

For a 5-day cruise, the Carnival Sensation sails from Tampa to Cozumel and Grand Cayman. You could do a veranda cabin on this ship for about the same price of a CAT-11, 3-day Wonder cruise. We have friends who are Carnival convert$ (from DCL) who have sailed this ship twice and loved it.
