What would your dream trip to Florida include?

1) How long would you stay?
2) What all would you do? i.e. beaches, parks, food, ect.

Dream big!

I would stay for a month, splitting each week at GF, Poly, AKL and Contemporary and bring everybody fun who is close to us along....
Do? Well, everything!! :)

If $ were no object, I'd love to stay for 3 weeks with Park Hoppers. We'd stay at WL or AKL (concierge) for 1 week, the Poly (concierge) another week, and we'd like to give one of the Beach Club Villas rooms a try the 3rd week. That way, we'd get a variety of transportation options and pools to use throughout the trip. We would have the meal plan for the entire trip.

Oh, and on the last night of our vacation, we'd spend the night at Cinderella's Castle!

Stay 2 weeks at AKL. For the first time, enjoy the hotel and pool, no park commando runs, definitely try the finer dining and if the money were no object, start planning the next 2 week trip to the Grand Floridian!! It's good to dream.

WOWeeee. That's a great question.

Well where do I begin?

Oh yes...a 3 week vacation in the fabulously sunny city of Orlando, Florida. To be more specific in the luxurious Grand Floridian Resort on Disney property. Two rooms, 7 people. Ahh what fun!

DDP? Of course! And only the finest Disney Restaurants. ahh what the heck...it doesn't have to be "the finest" just gotta be good.

And of course we must not forget EMH...and ADRs. OH YES THIS IS GOING TO BE SPLENDID! I CAN'T WAIT.

I'd stay a week at every resort I haven't experienced before! That's a lot of resorts! :rotfl: And I'd do every tour they had! I wouldn't go to the beach or anything, but I might hit some of the shopping areas while there and I would spend a couple of days at Universal and SeaWorld since I haven't been there in years. I usually can't justify going to those parks when WDW is right there! :rotfl:

I'd fly first class to MCO and take a limo to my first resort. I'd spend one week at Contemporary concierge (Magic Kingdom view), one week at Poly concierge (Magic Kingdom view), one week at Grand Floridian concierge (lagoon view), and one week at Wilderness Lodge concierge (best view possible). Of course, I'd visit every park and water park multiple times, take the carriage rides at both Fort Wilderness and POFQ, eat at Victoria & Alberts as well as just about every other Disney restaurant, get the full day massage package at the Grand Floridian spa a couple of times, take a couple of backstage park tours, do both the Illuminations and Wishes cruises, shop to my heart's content at World Showcase and World of Disney as well as the Disney Gallery. . .

Okay, I'm gonna stop there 'cause I could keep going and going and I don't want to bore y'all!
:rotfl2:

I'd spend two months there, I'd have parkhoppers every day but wouldn't spend all my time at the parks. I would stay at WL and Poly and Boardwalk. I'd do AT LEAST one illuminationsa and Wishes cruise. I would dedicate one day to rideing EE the entire time (maybe set a record). Also i would take the tours, all of them.

Everyone's plans sound great. Here is what my thoughts are:

2 weeks @ BCV's in a 2 bedroom
8 nights @ HRH
10 nights @ Vero Beach in a 2 bedroom beach cottage
12 nights @ AKL

I realize we could try more resorts but I think moving 4 times is more than enough, even if it is over 6 weeks.

We have annual passes to the Disney & Universal parks so we will come and go to all of them as we please, but absolutely no commando touring! Several visits to TL & BB & we will spend a couple of days at Sea World, DD has been asking to go. Lots of down time to spend lounging at the pools. There will also be lots of time for shopping!!

We will use the dining plan and eat where & when we want. We have never done any of the tours so I would like to do some of them. I may try the Luau & HDDR, never done either of those.

Of course we will have lots of down time while we are at Vero Beach, for those of you that have never been you need to check it out. It is an absolutely amazing place, so nice and relaxing.

Someday soon!

I'd do things like a fishing trip on Bay Lake early morning - Never fished before in my life.
Horse riding at Fort Wilderness - Never been on a horse either.
Love to do parasailing - Never done that

All those extra things Disney do but I just never have the time. One day......

I'd do one week at AKL, one week at the Poly, and one week at the Beach Club. All on the platinum plan. We'd hit all the parks of course including both water parks. We'd do several tours, Cirque, a Wishes cruise, an Illuminations cruise, and spa treatments. Of course being there that long we'd have plenty of time to enjoy the resorts and do some major shopping.

We'd also do another week for just Universal and SeaWorld since we have never been.

2 months

1 week in Key West
2 weeks on DCL doing Eastern and Western Cruises
1 week @ Vero
3 weeks @ WDW - 2 @ VWL and 1 BCV
1 week @ Hilton Head (ok not FL but is Disney)

Three Boardwalk Deluxe rooms concierge. All on the platinum plan for Clemson suitemate annual reunion. Yes we are high maintance as we get older. Followed by the teacher Yaya's group with 3 rooms at AKL concierge with the platinum plan.

Then, a week to recover at the Contemporary with DH. He only gets the one week as he doesn't get Disney. :confused3 Making sure he gets to go fishing several times. Put him on the Grand I for the day and evening: fishing, followed by dinner and Wishes!

Guess I better make more money as this is an expensive group! ::yes:: ::yes::

1) 10 Days - Boardwalk Inn Conceierge during Food & Wine Festivals
Book all the special events my heart desires :teeth:

10 Days - Contemporary Resort - During Garden and Flower Festival

10 Days - Grand Floridian During Christmas holidays
Book all the fine dining I ever dreamed of.

The extra special things I'd like to include are:

Illuminations Cruise

Dale driving Experience for Hubby

Chef's Table at any restaurant that offers it

Behind the magic tour

If I could throw in future Disney weddings for both my daughters I'd do that too:)

Fun Question!

I tihnk we're going to come close next summer, if the new DVC property at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is up and running. I'm planning on buying some points there, so our trip will be:

Leave on Thursday, and leisurely drive to Florida. Check in to the Renaissance hotel across from Sea World. Tour Sea World on Friday, have dinner with Shamu, spend Saturday at Discovery Cove, then finish Sea World on Sunday. Check out and move to the BCV 2BR villa for 5 nights. Enjoy Epcot and MGM leisurely, because we have such convenient access. After 5 nights, move to the Wilderness Lodge concierge. Enjoy water sports, including WaterMice and water skiing for the daughters (not me!!) and enjoy easy access to the Magic Kingdom. Tour the MK resorts if we feel like it. Finally, move to VAKL for 5 nights. Enjoy the resort, the Animal Kingdom, and revisit anything we haven't gotten to. Spend plenty of time by the pool!!! Oh, and make ADRs for all our favorite restaurants!!!!

I would spend my winter (Late Nov thru March) in Florida..half the time at WDW, one month at WL and month at AKL, then the rest of the time in the Florida Keys and Key West.

I would do exactly what we do now. Two weeks per year at a 2 bedroom suite at OKW.

I would live at WDW :cloud9: -maybe Celebration :cool1: . I would work at WDW to keep to be able to be around children  all the time. I might come back to Maine for Thanksgiving, Christmas and the months of August and September(I love the fall :thumbsup2 ).

If money and time were no object-I would bring my entire family to WDW for the holidays. All of the holidays from Halloween to Memorial Day!! Of course, those of us who aren't in school would be spending a bit more time there. I'd put my 3 cousins and their kids in Grand villas at one of the DVC resorts, Mom and Dad in a suite at the GF, my niece and a friend over at Wilderness Lodge and I would stay at SSR in a 1 bedroom all by myself. After all, I'm going to be there from October to June so I'll need a place I can really feel at home. (wonder how they're going to feel about :cat: :cat: :cat: After all, they're family!)
