Almost double digits, I'm jealous!!! LOL Actually, I'm right behind ya!! I can't wait until we hit the doubles!!

I do believe you can get the strawberries on Main st, in either the candy store, or that shop towards the plaza that has the cookies and ice cream. Not sure about the Caramel shop, Chris won't let me in there, he says I'll gain all my weight I lost last year back!!! HAHA Glad the bathing suits work, and look good. I got Tyler some shirts yesterday, so I'll take pictures of those soon.

Yum! I know I have seen the strawberries in the caramel store pictures. They have choc. and caramel so they must be heavenly. I should probably stay away from that place too, everything looks so good.

You are making me jealous with all of this shopping. I am so far behind, other than the bathing suits I have not bought anything for the trip. I am too busy stuffing all my money in the Disney jar.

I'll probably start a bit in March, but I am leaving all the clothes shopping in April. Every year I buy Caitlin's clothes early and then they come out with new stuff that I like better or everything drops in price and it drives me crazy. This year I am waiting as long as possible. I can't even imagine it being warm out anyway.

Thanks! They are predicting another 3-6 inches tonight. I can't remember what grass looks like.

I am so glad they finally released the dates for SWW. I was figuring it would start the 20th since they are reopening Star Tours that week. I don't even know what I would have done if they weren't going on during our last weekend.

It has been a nice, relaxing weekend and we finally have some sun today. It is 45 degrees! Feels like summer compared to the last month.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. After working all week this week I know I am. It seemed like every person in CT fell on the ice and broke something which made the ER insanely busy all week.

We avoided snow this weekend and it is a nice, sunny 45 degrees today.


Disney finally released the dates for SWW and they start the weekend I was hoping. I am so excited that it worked out. It was a bit risky planning a weekend around something they hadn't released dates for yet. I am sure we would have found something to fill the days, but Caitlin will be thrilled she is going to see the Star Wars characters again.

The original dates I had planned for this trip was Feb. 25- March 3. It would have been so nice if we were that close. Luckily we are getting closer. Once Feb. is done it will seem like no time at all. I can't wait!

I have friends in New York and New Jersy, and I get texts from them all the time on how bad, and snow pictures, and stuff. Crazy!!! Hope the rest of your weekend goes good! I'll try to update pics from my weekend tomorrow or later tonight. I took well over 100 pictures yesterday!! But, the new stroller woks out great and now I really can't wait to get a hold of them kids!!! LOL

Here in the "deep south" we haven't had much in the way of snow (not in Jackson anyway) but school has been cancelled twice for ice. The threat of ice and snow shuts down everything around here! I could not even go to work if I wanted to Friday due to the interstates being closed! People go crazy here!! They say our high Thursday is going to be 25 ....I am ready for spring! But in saying all of that, I can't imagine what you guys are going through with so much snow!

I am really excited about SWW. Right now I have 2 days open, but I am really hoping that Caitlin gets enough done in one day so that we can have a nice pool day. She seems to be calming down with the SW obsession.

I am a bit worried about how bad the crowds will be with the new ride opening, but I refuse to give up another day to go to DHS on a non-SWW day. It is my least favorite park and it is already getting 2 days b/c of Caitlin while all my favorites are getting one.


We've had 2 warmer days and the snow is melting. It has been wonderful. Too bad they are predicting a few inches overnight. I am really giving up. I used to worry about the snow and getting to work and what I would do with Caitlin since I have to go to work. Then, last week we had a HUGE ice storm and I had to be in work . There were 4 people scheduled 4-12. 3 full timers and me- little per diem, fill in. Guess who showed up to work. ME! The 3 full timers called out. Some of the day shift stayed to work since they stayed overnight to be in the next morning, but really? From now on I am just waking up and if I need to call out or be late, that is what is going to happen.

Wasn't Sunday wonderful? If there wasn't some much snow on the ground you could actually spend some time outdoors. I am hoping the worst is over, but who knows?

Good luck with MNSSHP. It stinks that Disney takes so long to release those dates. How are you supposed to make you adrs 180 days out if you don't have that info?

I've been taking a bIt of a break from Disney planning. I thought I had a good plan and decided to give it a bit of time before posting to see if I would keep the plan. It lasted almost 2 weeks and now that plan is gone.


Last week Caitlin had a little presentation at school. The whole class had to write their own book about a special memory. The parents were invited to listen so DH and I went to her school to see her read her cute little story. Guess what memory she picked? The Trip. (Disney, of course.) Her book included all of her hightlights such as SWW, seeing Darth Vader and Luke and what else? Chef Mickey and Ohana breakfast. Also in there was the Dumbo ride and the pool at the hotel we stayed at offsite.

We get home and I ask her if she wants to go to Chef Mickey's again. Duh, of course. What about breakfast with the princesses? Um, yeah! This from the child who told me a month again that she didn't want any character meals. I have been able to get pretty good times for the places she wants on the days I needed.

Since we are staying on DVC points we can add dining plans to a few days. I've decided to do a few days of the DXDP and a few days OOP. With all the character meals and a few dinners I had lined up it makes sense.

Which brings me to the Wishes Dessert Party. Originally when I booked it I had almost all quick service plans with a few TS breakfast. Now, that we are having a few dinners it seems like the WDP is a bit of overkill. Should I keep it or just use a few snacks credits and get some treats to eat on Main Street to watch Wishes?

That time of year, and with the deluxe plan, I'd get a few snacks, and watch wishes from main street. You shouldn't have any issues getting a decent spot. The chocolate covered marshmallows are AWESOME, and the caramel shop in Epcot.....well, I think I gained 5 lbs in the 15 minutes I was in line to get a strawberry and a piece of fudge. I ate the fudge right away, the strawberry I saved for today. Getting ready to eat it!!! YUM!!!! Pink, do you have facebook???
