If I have a PS for MK, am I guaranteed to get in?

We will be arriving mid to late afternoon on Christmas Day and was wondering........

If I make a PS for the Castle for Dinner and they close down MK due to capacity, will I still be allowed to go into MK? We will be staying on site, GF, and will have activated our AP's.

Any Advice would be greatly appreciated since for Christmas they do take your cc information right away. I would hate to have the PS and then find out that you cannot get into the park!

No you will not be allowed back in Magic kingdom. If it is closed for capacity it is closed to everyone.

Remember the parks close in different phases. First is to offsite guests then to onsite guests. Depending on where you are staying-- will depend on which level of closing will affect you. But the bottom line does come down to-- a PS will not guarantee your entry to the park.

I am trying to decide where to have Christmas Dinner and would love the Castle but would hate to pay for the PS and then arrive and find out that we are not going to be let in.

It looks like a change for Dinner Plans once again!LOL

I don't think you should worry about getting shut out. Remember, they close to on-site guests last, as Kilee points out. A lot of folks will have left the park by supper time, so I would estimate that you would have a very minimal chance of not being able to make it to your PS.

But then if you want to hedge your bets of the slim chance of not being let in, make another PS and breathe more easily.
