If I have a 7PM reservation for Coral Reef, will I make it to Illuminations on time? The best time I could get was 7PM and nothing earlier except 4:20PM and that's too early. Do you think we would be able to make Illuminations at 9PM? Would we get a crappy "seat"?

I think you'd be okay. Out of there by 8:30. You might not get the "best" seat, but I think it'd be okay. Of course, you might feel rushed. And you're way on the other side of the park.... Maybe just get a CS meal from somewhere in WS.

It takes about an hour to eat and 5- 10 minutes to get to the lagoon. You should be fine.

I would just worry about getting your table on time. Last time we ate there we had to wait about 30 minutes are our ressie...

But, we did love the food there! So good!

What day of the week are you eating there? We had 7:30pm ressies on a Saturday night and they were 2hrs behind. However, we have also eaten there on a Thursday at 7pm and only had to wait about 20min. So, it might have something to do with the day of the week.

Coral Reef is notorious for long wait times even with a reservation, but I suspect you will have no problem finishing in time for IllumiNations. The theme park restaurants are equipped for quick turnarounds, so even if you aren't seated until 7:30, your server will almost definitely have you out of the restaurant in an hour. There is a chance you will have to sacrifice a prime viewing space for your meal, but I don't see you missing the show altogether.
