Pass length is 1 year from date of issue, so one purchased on 22nd Aug 07 would expires 22 Aug 2008.

I've just checked mine as I thought it ran to the day before the next year and it does. We bought on 01OCT06 and ours expire on 30SEP07.So it is a complete calender year from day of purchase or activation.
