If I book with pin code...will they stop coming?

I was wondering if anyone knows how this works. We received a 30% off pin for next June on all resorts. Last year we had a free dining pin and it saved us a lot more. So my question is if we book with the 30% off pin in hopes of the free dining coming later, will they stop sending us pin codes? I am definitely not complaining, I would just love the free dining better because it saved us $400 more.

Most people have not got one pin let alone two
I wouldn't hold out for. Better pin because chances are it will not come anyway

Once i booked this year's vac using a pin I received last year, I never received another pin before my vacation. I agree w/ the pp, if the pin u got works, book it. What u could do afterwards is if FD comes out to the general public, you may be able to switch your pin ressies over to the FD promo...that's what happened to us this year. & that's what we ended up doing....no guarantees though so I wouldn't miss out on what u currently have. I don't know what demographic it is that we fit, but we do get pin codes fairly regularly--meaning 1 - 6 per year. I have booked with them many times and they still keep coming. We've gotten them when we were annual passholders, and when we weren't. We've gotten them when we've been staying offsite and when we've been staying onsite. I honestly think there isn't any one do or don't that get you pin codes.

We used to get them even after using one, but now that we bought DVC we never get any! They got us to drink the kool-aid so they know we're coming back!

Seriously, I would book with the pin code you have, because there is no guarantee that you will get another or even that they will offer a fd one in 2012.

I don't think anyone really knows how they decide who to send PIN's to.
We signed up for all the email lists, ordered the planning DVD's, etc., etc.
For the first 3 years we went (2005,2006,2007), we never got a PIN.
Then after we hadn't gone for about 2 years, we started getting PIN's every few months. We haven't used any of them because the timing never worked out. We did do a trip this past June, but the best deal was to rent a villa for our party of 10.
