If Easter is in April, will March be busy?

And how busy??? Mobbed or just so so. Our schools are going to a modified traditional and will have two weeks off in Mid-March every year. I'm thinking the weather would be great then.

Very few public schools or universities acknowledge Easter as a holiday. Their breaks are also in mid-March.

The last time we went the 2nd week of March, 10-15th (just dh and I then) the park was not really that crowded. That said, I had always gone during late July/early August. The early part of the week was perfect, things started to get cramped by the end of the week when people started coming during their Spring Breaks. I think that we didn't have many problems because we used FastPass effectively and got to the parks pretty early.

We go every March and I cannot say that it is overly crowded. We were there 3/13-3/21 2003 and it was great. The longest line we waited in (with no fastpass) was about 20 minutes. We will be there 2/24-3/5 2004 and I doubt it will be any different. Would not do Easter week, though!!

I'm hoping it's not! We usually go in July, but we are giving March a shot this year. It's pretty darn crowded in July. At least it won't be as hot!!

We had gone a couple of years ago in March when Easter was wrapped into it. WHAT A MISTAKE! It was terrible. Never again.

We had gone three other times from March 2nd through around the 19th and it is usually fine. Sometimes empty, sometimes 30 minute wait for the most popular rides. But, you never know. We'll try again this year and keep our fingers crossed.

another vote for a March trip! We have always gone first or second week in March and found the crowds to be manageable. On March weekends, you just can't stroll into MK at 11:00 a.m. -- you have to plan a little. No, it is not as empty as mid-January or early December, but it is a heck of a lot warmer!

We'll be there the week of March 19th. While I suspect crowds will be heavier than we've experienced on other trips (end of September, early October, early December), I don't think it will be as bad as summer months. We have a friend who owns a home in the Orlando area. Our friend tells us that "spring break" is anytime between February and April.

We went March 8 - 16, 2003 and while it was busier than early December, it wasn't what I would call crowded. All of the schools around here still have spring break around Easter. I wish they wouldn't. I'd like to plan a spring break trip to WDW, but there's no way I'm going at Easter.
