If CPGV Not Available, Help Me Choose!

We are planning on visiting both WDW & US/IOA when we vacation in Oct. We hoped to stay at CPGV again, but so far there isn't any availability showing for our dates on Skyauction. We have read some very good reviews of Silver Lake, OLCC, Orbit One, and Summer Bay but don't know where they are located. Are any of these better locations than the others for easy access to both Disney & Universal Parks?

We are also considering using our skyauction RSG that I've already won to put towards a dedicated Vistana Resort stay, if we can't find what we need on the RSG auction search.

If you really want CPGV you can book per night through www.hotelkingdom.com too...

Thanks, laurabelle. I planned to use hotelkingdom to add an extra day to whatever location we choose, because the accomodations on skyauction are only for 7 days at a time. I already have the RSG auction; I have to book accomodations with it by the end of June.

I'll tell you what I know and hopefully someone will come along and fill in the blanks! We stayed at OLCC in Dec. '03--it's on the west side of Hwy. 192 in Kissimmee and about 2 miles or so west of the Sherbeth Rd. "back entrance" into WDW near AK. I've never been there but I understand that Summer Bay is even further west on 192. Silver Lake is located right off Black Lake Rd. also in the vicinity of the Sherbeth Rd entrance (Black Lake comes out onto Sherbeth). Orbit One is located on Entry Point Blvd., which is on the south side of 192...on the north side it's Sherbeth Rd., on the south side the same road changes to Entry Point Rd. Is that too confusing??!! ANYWAY, in terms of convenience, I'd have to say both Silver Lake and Orbit One are convenient, with OLCC and Summer Bay less so.
