If check-in delayed - can you still get into parks

I think I know this answer, but if a 'room' isn't ready yet due to housekeeping, are we out of luck on getting into a park and having our free dining package passes for lunch? Or, will they allow us to leave bags and start our day?

We are checking in on a Sunday morning.

We did this a couple of years ago. They will hold your luggage and you are off to the parks. They even give you a number to call to see when your room is ready.

Our room wasn't ready but we went straight to the parks...you will be fine.

You can check in anytime after 6 or 7 AM (I forget which). You can get your dining credits, tickets, and room key, and check your bags.

If your room is not ready, they'll give you a card with a number to call to check on the status of your room, and you can head out and start your day in the parks.

it starts at 6 am, but i believe the ATS system comes up later, so it could be as late as 7 am.
