McCain is a closet democrat. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Mccain Lieberman ticket.
I'd go with Cheney, Rumsfeld or Frist.

You know, the last major politician from Indiana was Dan Quayle, potato/potatoe. He made the whole country think hoosiers were a bunch of bumpkins. That doesn't mean that I agree, but that's what it felt like at the time as a hoosier by birth living in DC. Maybe everyone who isn't a hoosier has forgotten. Hope so.

Well as a Hoosier who lived in DC for 5 years I can tell you that their disdain for folks from Fly over country was completely independent of anything Vice President Quayle every did. DW and have actually spent time with the Quayles and Vice President Quayle is bright, engaging and one of the finest people we know. That he was unable to play the game is a no shame, IMO, now that we see how the game is played.

Did you play Scrabble? Just kidding. I am sure that was quite an honor. I was never a Quayle fan, but I would hope Bayh would put a better face on the state of Indiana.

Galahad, I'm not really into politics much. But I sent a question a while back and got an answer and this Bayh Bulletin I get every couple months.
Here's a link if you're interested and don't already get it. Bayh Bulletin

You might be interested to know that Mr. Quayle continued to enjoy wide popularity to us hicks here in Indiana.....winning elections with over 80% of the vote and having huge approval numbers even after leaving office. Most folks here didn't have a problem with the "face" he was putting on Indiana. You can tell a lot about somebody by the people that ridicule them. I admire Mr. Quayle even more for who his enemies were.

It is my opinion that Bush will win this time.
But, you're right, if Kerry wins, she won't run until 2012.

She won't run at all then. She'll be too old to be attractive to the voters. (and I don't mean in a physical, because she's already past that point)
That is why I think the Clintons will see to it Kerry loses
