if ap codes come out tuesday...

can i make a reservation even if i don't have an annual pass yet?
that is, make the reservation and then get the ap?
(i am getting nervous about general public codes- would an ap even be worth it if we stay for 7 nights?-just to get the room code?) at the gf

Yes.

You just have to make sure you've got your
AP or your Voucher when you check in.
Reports vary as to whether CM's at check-in
accept the Voucher, or not.
But it seems that if you have it they will
hold your room at AP rate for that day (or 24 hours)
until you show your AP to them at the desk
when you get it activated.
But then again, many people on the boards here
have said they've never once been asked to show it?
Just be prepared to show it, or prove you have/are getting one.
Otherwise you'll pay rack rate.
