First of all, this has very little to do with FP+. I haven't been to WDW in 2yrs and during that time the Legacy FP system was in place. (working just fine, might I add). I do believe Disney needs some time to "work out the kinks" with the new FP+, as well as, everything else they are trying to accomplish.

My take on US is has been the same for quite some time... they are making all the right moves and this is a great time to be apart of their movement.

Disney may have reached the tipping point. I can't say for sure, but Disney never had this hard of time making a new transition. Again, I haven't been in a couple years so perhaps I need to experience the "new WDW" for myself.

All I know is there's something US is doing that just looks and feels right. I love Parks and the ideas for expansion. IMO... Harry Porter World was a major success. The parks are sooooo clean and crowd levels seems to be manageable. Not to mention their FP system is simple and doesn't over-reward the onsite guest. With Comcast investing 500-million into US, the future looks bright.

I'm a Disney die-hard so I'll never completely turn my back on them. I simply believe they just need some time to get there mojo back.

See ya in about 5 years! :wave2:

I agree with this. But Disney has a chance to get that mojo back, as you say, with the 7DMT, Avatarland, Carsland (if it happens). I know 7DMT is a "family" ride and is not going to be a super thrill ride, but it better be an e-ticket for overall experience for how long it took. Also, if Avatarland is truly extraordinary (the look, the rides, etc.) and is complete on time or a little sooner, then Disney is making it's comeback. In addition, if Carsland becomes a reality in HS in a timely manner then WDW is back to a WOW place to visit. Imagine WDW if 7DMT is a classic, Avatarland is all we hope it will be, Carsland added to HS and throw in a new e-ticket at Epcot in addition to all that it already is.
I don't think my post is a dreamers post, this is all within reason and important for Disney to be back to that awesome place it could be.

You're right. We're DVC members but find we're enjoying Universal as much, if not more, than Disney lately. I really think Disney dropped the ball on the expansion in the MK. I mean, who thought doubling the number of Dumbo rides was the right approach? It seems like the Imagineers are stuck in the 70s.

The Universal experience just feels more genuine at the present time. It feels the way Disney use to feel. Disney is the King of providing visitors with the "magic" but its starting to lose that effect with everything that's being introduced. In the long run I hope things get back to normal because Disney is truly my favorite park. I believe when they are on top of their game... there is no one better.

Doesn't really sound like your a die-hard the way you threw them under the bus

Not true "puppy." I simply give credit where credit is due. And US is deserves to be acknowledged has a company making some good moves.

My heart is still with Disney and unless they do something morally unforgivable, I'll still come back to them.
