Hmmmm... I think it would depend on what kind of mood I wanted for that trip, or what park I planned to spend time at.

For an MK kind of trip, the Polynesian.

For an Epcot/Boardwalk kind of trip, the Yacht Club.

For something a little more exotic, Animal Kingdom Lodge.

For an adult trip I would stay at YC. For a trip with the kids, I would stay Lagoon View Poly!

Grand Floridian, Poly, and my new wanna stay at place after watching the planning DVD is the Beach Club.

I totally want to stay at the Boardwalk, and one of those little cottages would suit me just fine. I think the Boardwalk's location is superb, and I love the atmosphere with all the restaurants and shops along it

If I were in an Epcot area mood I would choose the Beach Club.

Wow, I'm really surprised at all of the different responses. I think I expected to find that there was one "best" resort. That actually makes me feel good, knowing that I can trust my own judgement in resort selection because it really is a matter of personal preference.
