If Adam and Eve were the first people on earth then how is it that there were cavemen? My 7 yr old asked and I didnt have an answer, so I'm hoping that someone can help.

I said above that I never really thought about it before. I've thought about lots of things in my life...cavemen is not one of them. Okay? I was just making a funny that wasn't very funny. I realize that now.
