If a fall code is released....

If a fall code is released...say free dining or ticket upgrade... can I apply that to my existing reservation? Do I have to cancel my existing and re book? Is it a mad dash for these deals?? Do I have to call 1st thing in the morning? I have heard rumors of a code coming out next week and I am already stressed Not to mention I have to get up at 7am on Sunday to make my CRT ADRs. My family thinks I am nuts!

You have to re-book.

Depends on what resort you want. There are only so many rooms available for the discount. Some resorts sell out the discounted rooms right away. Last fall we booked the free dining at POP on the day it came out - my parents were still able to book it 2 months later.

I have a TA - so less stress. There's still some stress waiting to hear if she was successful.

In Feb 2005 I had booked our trip for October 2005. When the free dining came out in June all I did was apply it to my ressie. I did not have to rebook. Hoping a new deal comes out soon..by the way, where did you hear a rumor that there is a new deal coming out next week?

We had originally booked in Jan. for our fall trip. I just remembered that we had re-booked to get the AP rate, then had to re-book again the next day to drop the AP rate & get the free dining.

I read on the news and rumors board there could be a deal next week. Again, the board title says it all. I have been checking Mousesavers, since sometimes, Mary hints if she knows there is something big in the wind (like keep checking back or similar). We want to go in November, but some type of deal is a must for us, the rack rates at the moderates are getting to be too much for me.

A new code was just put out for Disney Visa Card members, must book April 1st-3rd, so the 4th is a good guess for when the general code will be out.

Good for travel up to Sept 30th.
