Identification for Kids in case they get lost in WDW

We bought the rubber bracelets and had our cell phone numbers put on them. We also practice what to do. My youngest knows if mom or dad gets lost he needs to find a mommy and tell her his name and show her his bracelet.

My DD wears her Disney Pin (looks like the ones the CM's wear) yes it has her name on it, but she gets called by name which she loves....I have put my name and cell phone number on the back with a label maker sticker....luckily have never had to use it!

We ordered bracelets from vitalid.ca for our two toddlers and are quite happy with the quality and design. They close with velcro (which may or may not be a good thing depending on how your kids are!) and have a pocket inside to keep a hand-written tag with contact info, etc.

We looked at lots of other versions of a similar id bracelet and liked these the best.

I used these key tags last year on a necklace chain. This year I will be putting them on their lanyards. I just typed up mom's cell # and dad's cell # and sealed the paper with tape so it's more durable. I found the key tags at Michaels for $1 for 6, and the lanyard was $1. I like it because it's lightweight, and they will be wearing the lanyard for pin trading anyway.

Thanks everyone. We chose to do something different, but similar. I appreciate all the ideas! Some neat things out there!

My son has a cell phone as well as one of those dog tags you can make in the machines at walmart. His has his name. that he has Autism and mine and my husbands phone numbers on it.

This will be our DD7's first year not being in a stroller. We have been talking to her about what to do. We told her if she were to get separated to look for a person wearing one of the Disney name tags since she knows what they look like. Tell them that she is lost, tell them her name, mine and her father's name, let them know which resort we are staying, and give them my cell phone number (she has it memorized). I'm either going to laminate the info onto a card and slide it into her pin lanyard or laminate a very small card (size of a dog tag) with the info on it and slip it into her shoe, so it won't get lost, she'll know it's there if she needs it, and strangers will have no way of "just picking up the information". It can also be slipped under the cushioned insert of her shoe so it doesn't bother her. I got the "dog tag" idea because both my brothers are in the military and they keep one of their dog tags in their boots when they are deployed on active duty.
