First, does anyone have an idea for what I should type in to do a search on ways to earn extra money? Search isn't currently working, but I want to be ready.

I technically have the money for our trip, but now Chrysler is offering 0% financing and I am looking at paying off my van with my saved money instead of waiting until next year when it would be paid off on the current plan, cause how long can these 0% deals really last?

But if I use that money that means I need:

$400 for remaining hotel nights
$500 for expenses for trip down and back (gas, food, 3 nights lodging)
$400 for food--we'll have a condo with full kitchen and
$360 for one more annual pass

Our budget is pretty tight, so I need to get extra ideas, but what phrases to use?

I not sure That is the way to get more money??

1. Do a yard sale,be ruthless get rid of all that extra stuff. There are some Yard Sale experts here so ask questions!!

2. Sell things on ebay, especially if you find a super deal buy 2,sell one on ebay. There are also experts here that will help you.

3. Start a Change jar. Put all change in the jar, even $1.00 bills if you can.

4. Ask for Disney Dollars for all gift giving occasions for your whole family.

5. Start doing Rewards Programs for Disney Dollars.Check the pull down menu at the bottem of the page.

6. Work over time.

7. Do you have a hobby you can turn into money by selling it at flea market, craft fairs, local events that offer tables to venders.

Well.that should get you started thinking!!

do mystery shopping. All you do is fill out a questionaire after you shop what ever store you are assigned.

There is a great list of some of the companies under this web address:
www.jonys.freeyellow.com . You cn also go to a search engine and type in Secret Shopper or Mystery Shopper. Do not use the ones that charge a fee or want you to buy a book. Legitimate companys pay/reimburse you-not the other way around. If you need any help let me know. ;)

i kinda do a weird thing~ i budget $100 per week for groceries and incidentals. there are only 3 of us and i can feed us quite well on less than that. so, if at the end of the week i have any of the hundred left it goes into my disney account. also any spare ones i through into a cookie jar that is just used for decorative purposes. it really adds up this way.

I would check with Chrysler dealer. They are advertising in our area that the 0% is back. I would way out what you are paying for finance charges.

The piont is that I want to get a new Chrysler now instead of waiting until next year when the old car would be payed off on normal terms. If I take my savings and pay off my current car, therby getting rid of the payment, I will be able to manage the Chrysler payment worked into my monthly bills. I want to do this now, instead of waiting until next year so that I can take advantage of the 0% financing, as I am sure by next summer the 9% won't be available--I'm assuming the economy will pick up by then.

I have really trimmed my budget--we are eliminating some of the extra's that we really don't need--like the Schwann's man! Edy's on sale is a lot cheaper. I have also found some things to sell on ebay and eventually I am going to sell my china and put that money toward the trip--I hate it anyway! I do a couple of secret shopper things, but could the person who posted that link above check it? It didn't work for me.

Thanks to all, and any suggestions yet for the search phrase I sould use?

I have read about having yard sales to get rid of stuff for disney, but I have been going to yard sales to buy stuff cheap and sell on ebay. Examples:

Disney movies or others- Cinderella tapes on ebay go from $20-$30 depending on condition. Beauty and the Beast is a rare one too that is a wanted video and others too. I have been to many yard sales where kids no longer watch these and I have picked them up from $1-$5 a copy. There are many other disney titles no longer able to buy that are wanted on ebay. I bought all 4 star wars movies for $10 and sold them for $34 plus change.

Shoes- You would not believe how many pairs of Aigner shoes I find for $1 and sell on ebay for $10-$20 depending on condition. Other name brands too are, Keds, Tommy shoes cole Haan.

I once found a Cole Haan purse for $5.00 and sold it for $63 plus change Same for a Dooney and Burke too.

Cloths are a big ticket too. Example I picked up a pick Pooh shortall for a little girl size 4T like new condition a few weeks ago for .25 and sold it for $6 plus change. Those little dollars start adding up. Adult cloths too, Tommy, and Liz sell well. I found 2 pair of Liz golf shorts recently for .50 a pair and sold them for $11 plus change.

These little dollars start to add up. Some weeks I come home with nothing to sell or just a few small items. But every little bit helps, as well as coming home with deals for myself and family. I am a yard sale addict.

Good luck ! Were hoping for the poly this December LV

;)

I have a friend who is very saavy at turning garage sale finds into EBay profits. She was making $200-$300 a month, but they were very organized. She looked for collectibles, and her big score was a game. It had never been paid, and she paid a dollar. It sold to a game store owner for over $200, and he said he'd be able to sell it for a nice profit. However, they devoted a room of their house to this business and dedicated Saturday mornings to estate and garage saling. The point being, any oddball stuff you have is worth looking up on EBay, because one man's junk....
