IDEAS needed! 4days/3nights/2 parks

We will arrive at ALSMo on Wednesday morning and will go to MK Thursday and MGM Saturday. I have been to WDW but never stayed at one of the resorts.

We have a 7 year old DD and 5 year old DS.

Does anyone have any suggestion for our arrival day and non-park day?

Any specific tips for MK and MGM?

Two words for Downtown Disney. There is so many shops to see it.s unreal.

Another option is Fort Wildress there's petting zoo and Trails End Buffet which is excellent.

Arrival day hand out at the pool or DTD. Go to Chef mickeys or 1900 Parke Fair Char Meal And ride the monorail. Ride the Epcot loop too. On our Non-park days we go to a late Char Breakfast, swim & eat at a resort-Ohanas is a good choice thaen watch the Electric Water Parade.
You can resort hop also & check out the World.

Another fun thing to do on a non-Park day, is renting Water Mice at one of the MK monorail resorts or FW & have a WM Regatta around Seven Seas Lagoon & Bay Lake. You would need to rent 2.

don't miss fantasmic at mgm; i saw it for the first time friday and let me tell you; we almost didn't do it, but i am so glad we did; it was GREAT!

I'd get a priority seating at one of the resort hotels. I'd probably do a little DTD and some swimming at your resort before dinner.
