I am giving the family (Me,Wife, 6Yo, 4yo, 1 yo) a trip to DW for Xmas, any Ideas of what to actually give them on Christmas day as the gift showing/saying we are going in April?
We went to Disneyland in March and that was part of our Xmas gift last year. We gave DD Disney Dollars (she was little so she thought they were tickets to Disney) and matching shirts from disney shopping. We included a letter from Santa saying that since DD was so good, Santa was sending her to Disneyland.
Why not make a countdown chain and wrap it up for Christmas? Check the link below for one that you can personalize with all of the info pertinent to your trip. Or make them each a Santa Hat done in a Disney Font. Or personalized pressed penny tubes. Or a Disney World piggy bank so they save for souvenirs. Check this link for all of the above items.http://www.plan-a-magical-vacation.com/disney-vacation-countdown.html
Just be prepared for a lot of asking if it's time for Disney World yet. That's why I make a chain - so they can see how much longer is left.
Oooh - check this link for the activity and Guide books for kids. I really like the look of the Journal and Autograph books. I bet the 6 year old would love those or the Guide to the Magic or the Birnbaum's kids guide book (my kids love theirs). http://www.plan-a-magical-vacation.com/disney-gifts.html
Or how about some Disney Pins to trade (you can usually get a good deal on a bunch from ebay).
Have a wonderful time - I still have to wait 53 more weeks until our next trip!
I actually saw this on tv last night. This guy did it for his wife for a trip to Paris.
Make up a mock itinerary and print it on the back of a plain white shirt. Then wrap up the shirts and give them as gifts.
They're are a few sites where you can make tee's, i have them saved as favorites at home, i can post them later if your interested.
Of course at first glance, it's a plain white tee.. then have them turn the shirt around. List a few rides say:
