ideas for embellishing mini file folders ...

so I'm hitting a creative wall. I'm in a swap and signed up for mini file folders because I just got the red sizzix mini folders die. Does anyone have any pics of folders they've done or any good ideas to get my creative juices flowing?

I have a digital picture of a file folder that another DIS scrapbooker did, that was terrific for AK pictures, but for the life of me, I don't know how to post it.

I have the same die and I'm using it in my Disney ABC scrabook to mat behind some photos and have the title of the photo on the file tab. It would also be good to stamp the date on the tab or use dymo labels for the tabs. When I get around to working on my Disney characters album, I intend to have each photo mounted on a folder with the year on the top tab.

As far as embellishments go, I always like the way gem clips, or anything else that slides, looks on a folder. A ribbon tied around a folder looks good, too.

It's anything goes... I love that sizzix die cut for mini file folders!!! I also have seen paper added into the file folders to put notes and journal on.. I love that idea also!!

i figured it out ... none of the two peas links are going to work ... it just puts you on the front page of the gallery no matter what you do ... :-(

When you go to 2peas, click on search gallery and type in mini file folder in the line that says "Where title contains"

you'll find a bunch of stuff.

Lisa has a picture of mine from AK but this is a similar folder I did for Adventure land. The tiki was photocopied on, the title was printed on the computer, and the torches were paper pieced. Now my file folders were larger than the die cut, I used a template.

On the AK one if Lisa can get you a picture I stamped the tiger and printed nahtazu on the computer. I also distressed it with and ink pad and a cotton ball.
