i just wanted anyone else's input on changes that they think should be made at USF and IOA. in my opinion, they should do something else with twister and add another ride in jurassic park. how about u?

As much as I like IOA, I definately think they need to add another thrill ride in the Jurassic Park area. It's pretty dead back there but I don't know what kind of ride they would or could add in that space. As far as the Studios go, I would like to see them add something in the old Nick Studios building, which is currently being used as a house for HHN.

i would love to see some kind of thrill ride in jurassic park, and maybe in toon lagoon. in the studios, i would love to see them bring back hanna barbara to nick studios (i loved that ride and jimmys terrible!). also, i would maybe want something new in san francisco/amity.

I agree with another ride at IOA. They need more attractions there; if for any other reason to spread out the crowds and lines.

IOA has sat on it's but way too long. Storm Force and Univorn just didn't cut it.

I was thinking the same think about twister, the first part is creepy with the loud rain and and thunder on the roof , but when you get to where the tornado is, its this little funnel and the wind machines are behind you and if your in the back like we were, you cant feel the wind as much. They should have the wind coming from all around, it should be a little more foggy that way the tornado could be a lot bigger and thicker, and maybe release a darker color smoke near the funnel so it appears black and not white.
I was really looking forward to that ride but was dissapointed a little.

I have yet to be at IOA , probably next year.

I'll agree with Twister. I also would like something to replace Earthquake....something awesome like The Mummy!!

They have another one coming. Didn't you read the thread about McMonkey's riding machines opening next year?

yeah that looks interesting. and earthquake reallly needs to be taken away and replaced with something funner.

Add a few more kiddie rides in Suessland. Also, do something with that train ride thing that was never finished. I miss the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, would love something like that state of the art of course.

I would add new E-tickets to both Jurassic Park and Lost Continent, they both need it. In JP, I would build the scrapped jeep ride. Sort of a cross between an indoor dark ride and a gloomy, more enclosed version of what Kilimanjaro is. I'd also replace Pteronadon Flyers with something that has a higher capacity. Possibly a tame flying coaster. Then I would order someone to get all the special effects on JPRA working correctly, because it seems like it's never 100%. In LC, I would build some type of dark ride/coaster with a medieval theme. It would go in the space that was supposed to house Van Helsing. I'd put a Grinch dark ride in Suess (along with getting the driving machines open) in the space behind Cat in the Hat. Eventually, I'd build a Rocky & Bullwinkle water coaster in the space next to Ripsaw Falls. I'd also think about replacing the Toon Theatre with a new ride for Marvel and extend the theming out to there, because Marvel is too small. Marvel doesn't need a new ride at the moment though.

In USF, I would gut the Nickelodeon building and turn it into an indoor studio tour of sorts, with Universal movie memorabilia, recreated sets and the like. Maybe a general special effects show to go with it, like the Horror Makeup show but more broad in theme. In the large space behind MIB, I'd build a new area that centers around a jungle-themed Kong ride or some other E-ticket, with several other, smaller rides around it. I would give E.T. a complete refurb, including animatronics and special effects upgrades. Possibly do the same with Jaws.

Oh yeah, and I would ditch the horribly boring Earthquake preshow but keep the ride. Possibly make it longer with the empty space if it's possible.

I think some of the attractions at US are dated now, Lucille A Tribute (does anyone actually like this?)/Earthquake both need replacing with something better.

At IOA new attractions in the Jurassic Park / Lost Continent are needed, there just isn't enough in either area for us.

Although I love to ride Ripsaw Falls, I really don't like the theme. I think it's a bit out-of-date. If given the chance, I'd change it to a Willie Wonka theme.

I am very surprised there is no Scooby Doo ride at US.
