ID problem for Airport??

Dh and I both have a valid drivers license. The problem is we recently moved and have not gotten the address changed on our drivers license. Does that matter at security check in at the airport?

I moved last summer and in PA they just give you a change of address slip to keep with your license. I just give them the plastic license with my old address, I don't pull the slip out too. I did that too at check-in at BLT but the front desk cm caught that it didn't match my reservation so I handed her the slip too.

I don't know what state you are in but in PA you can do the change of address online, no charge.

Being a former airline employee...No as long as it's valid you are ok. If law enforcement needs to ask you for our ID then you have to be honest. Besides that you are good.

I looked online and in IN I didn't see anything like that, plus I don't think there would be time to get it.

Don't worry . . . I often use my passport when picking up my boarding pass or going through the Airport Security Screening stuff. It doesn't even have an address.

Boarding passes do not have addresses on them. PSA will check that the names on boarding pass and ID match and that your face matches the ID. I still have a former address on my license and I flew in Dec. with no issue.

When my passport was still valid that was all I would ever use at check in or security. Maybe I was just imagining things but the TSA agents seemed to give me a nod of thanks when handing it back to me. I always figured they knew right where to look on a passport and it made there job a little easier and if I had a passport they figured I traveled a lot.

We have passports, I never realized you could use those for domestic traveling. A seasoned traveler I am not!
