I just started doing the Weight Watcher program at home & in a week, I lost 8 lbs. Tonight I start the Curves program but I'm very nervous about that. I had gone on Tuesday evening & signed up & asked the instructor if I could try some of the machines since I wanted to be sure I could actually "do" the exercises. I was quite embarrassed when I couldn't get off of one unassisted!! (The one where you put your legs against tension & push real hard?) At first I thought I was at the Gyn's office!!
But it was quite embarrassing that I couldn't get off it on my own! I'm hoping that tonight I'll be able to manuver better but I'm not holding my breath!!
I've joined Curves to help me along with working out depression. I'll be forced to leave my house (which I'm unable to do without anxiety attacks.) Hopefully it will also help me lose weight a little quicker too. I am feeling very nervous & anxious about going tonight so this is really a big step for me.
If you have any words of encouragement over this Curves program, please share them with me!
Wish me luck!

It's always great to have another WISH'er! We all need support and encouragement from each other, so the more WISH'ers we have, the more support we get!!

Also, by the time I was using the equipment the correct way with the instructor showing me & then me trying it, I would only get 2 repitions done before I'd have to switch off!
But that turned out to be a good thing because I'm going from ZERO exercise to something so I guess it's best to start off slowly.
I sure hope I remember how to use the machines!!
