Hey guys!

I heard about a week ago that I got into the International College Program for Summer 2010! I will be going down May 2nd till end of July!:woohoo:

I was wondering if anybody knew of a good check list of things to bring to work at Disney and any info about how the first day goes? aka check in, presentations etc.? I will be probably getting more info in a couple of weeks but I am trying to plan! My parents were going to come with me and get a bit of food with me etc. on check in. How do things work for the first few days?

Any information or tips is great!

Can't wait to be down at the world! I will be in merchandise which was my top choice!

thanks!:goodvibes

While you should have received information from the Company on specific procedures. The rule of thumb is that as, I assume, a Canadian Citizen, you do not need to bring very much with you. You simply need to present your Letter of Acceptance along with a Canadian Passport that is valid for the duration of your stay in the United States to a US Customs and Border Protection officer. This can be done at any land border crossing, or at the U.S. Immigration Preclearance offices located in most airports.

If you don't have a Canadian Passport, or don't have one valid for the entire duration of your stay (and generally several months afterward), you can apply for a replacement at any Passport Canada/Passeport Canada office.

Once you arrive, you'll undergo a multi-day onboarding process which includes Traditions, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S., Inc.'s orientation programme, as well as Property (Park/Resort) Training, Line of Business Orientation and On-The-Job Training. A full schedule will be provided to you upon arrival, but should give you enough time to spend with your parents as well.

Receive up to $1,000 in Onboard Credit and a Gift Basket!
That’s right — when you book your Disney Cruise with Dreams Unlimited Travel, you’ll receive incredible shipboard credits to spend during your vacation!
