I know coffee can be a sore subject around here (Nescafe, anyone? ;) ), but for better or worse, I'm totally addicted to iced coffee. So I'm trying to make plans for my Aug. trip.

Has anyone found a decent iced coffee on property? I'm going to be bringing some of those new cans of Starbuck's iced coffee (although I'm scrambling to find the lite verion in stock anywhere), but that won't help me in the parks.

I had a good iced latte once at the Fountainview in Epcot, but sadly that may not be an option this time.

anyone?

I want to say that you can get iced coffee at the coffee bar outside of Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. You can also get a frozen cappuccino at various places in MK and Epcot - but this is much more like a coffee flavored milkshake. It's very good, but I'm sure it's loaded with fat and sugar.

I like plain, unsweetened, no cream, iced coffee in the summer. I've never had a problem ordering it in a table service or buffet, but sometimes had to explain to a server how to make it...uhh, ice, coffee, in a glass :rotfl:

3 years ago at Boatwrights at Riverside I had walked up to the hostess desk and asked if there was someplace I could get a cup of ICE COFFEE. They were like " you want coffee ,sure I'll get a cup " she says. " 1 HOT cup of coffee. Here you go "

Thank you but I was asking about ICE COFFEE. " what ? "

you know cold coffee ? " Hhmmmm !"

She says " lets see what I can do , sit down"

I end up getting 1 full pot of coffee , 1 pitcher with ice , 1 large paper cup with straw, 1 container of milk , 1 container of cream and lots of sugar and sugar substitute !!! I sat and made myself a nice Ice coffee and they wouldn't charge me since I did all the work!

All that aside I NEVER have luck getting ice coffee in WDW .

I THINK they may have it at the Fountainview Cafe (when it is open!) in Epcot. Not 100% sure. Kona coffee bar in the Poly is a good bet.

I have tried (and tried again) to order iced coffee at various locations in WDW, and no go. I've even had a few waitresses/waiters look at me as if I had 3 heads when I asked for iced coffee, and one asked for an explaination of it. (???) How can one understand the concept if iced tea, yet not have a clue on what iced coffee is? Now that I mention it, I'd love a bottomless glass
of good southern sweet tea at WDW as well.

I would be thrilled if I ordered an iced coffee at WDW and was given a pot of good coffee, cream, ice, a cup, sweetener, etc. Heck, I would even mix one up for DH!

I drink ice coffee every morning, in fact I cant stand coffee hot believe it or not! I have been able to get ice coffee several places on property, mainly at the lobby coffee bar in the contemporary. The problem with most places and ice coffee is that they can make it, they just dont make it "right" in my opinion. Most places will simply pour hot coffee over ice, melting most of it and diluting the coffee. I like to think that I taught Starbucks how to do it the right way by simply perking a pot and throw it in the fridge! :rotfl2: I have yet to find a place on property that does it this way, but maybe someday I can teach Disney a thing or two also:banana:

Another Iced coffee drinker here:thumbsup2 We had a car (rental) and since the front desk at POFQ had no clue what I was talking about when we were at the gas station I asked and there is a Starbucks at the outlet mall 5 Mins Away. I am so use to dunkin donuts being a block away I was horrified. This time we plan on brewing our own in the room and throwing it in the fridge.

Thank goodness I'm not alone!!! I guess I'm spoiled because I cold brew my own iced coffee. Throwing hot coffee over ice just isn't the same thing!

I've got an ADR at Kona the first day, so I'll be sure to stop at the coffee bar!!!

You can make your own iced Americano's at the resort if you sort of know what you are doing.

1) Fill your refillable mug 1/3 way with cold water.
2) Order a double espresso at the CS place and add it to the cold water.
3) Add Ice.

Iced Americano's are basically like iced coffees. :)

I am glad I am not the only one who misses my ice coffees. I think the closest I got to one was at DisneyQuest and at The Chocolate Store at DTD.
As soon as I got home I raced to DUNKINS.

That's right! I did get an iced mocha once from Giradelli's once!

I had an iced coffee at Cosmic Rays in the MK a couple of years ago. Not sure if they still have them. It was basically coffee with cream and sugar and ice cubes, but it was actually pretty tasty.... And it came in this cute frosted plastic cup with mickeys etched into it, which I ended up carrying around with me since I wanted to save it. :-)

I was really looking for one of those coffee slurpees at the time (like the ones you used to get at the 7-11). Anyone know where you can get coffee slurpees at WDW?

I will be satisfying my iced coffee habit at the coffee bar in the CR lobby. :yay:
Maybe upgrading would be worth it in that case :rotfl: POFQ had the worst coffee ever. I can't believe people drink it. You would think Disney would get it by now. I would pay 4 dollars for a good cup of coffee hot or iced!

I'm pretty sure the coffee kiosk near American Adventure in EPCOT has them. :)

Ditto! Worst coffee ever!!!

I've never had a coffee slurpee, but then I tend to shy away from the drinks with sugar. If I'm having sugar, it's coming from some delicious baked good :)

there is a dunkin donuts just outside of the main gate to wdw off of hotel plaza blvd on vineland road they have ice coffee it's just 5 min from downtown disney
