Icechest on airplane

Has anyone ever taken a hard midsize icechest on the plane? I wanted to pack some clothes in it and then use it in our room at AKL since they won't provide frig without charging. Any suggestions on how to do this or if you even can.

Go to your airlines website and see what they allow. Each airline has different rules.

If it meets the size requirements of your airline you shouldn't have a problem. I wouldn't seal it though so that it can be inspected.

Check the dimensions for carryon luggage at your airlines website or buy one of the soft coolers that fold flat (COSTCO, Target, Wal Mart etc)
