Ice Cream/Smoothies on Disney Dream

Is there an ice cream and smoothie station on the Dream? Is there an extra cost for either? We were looking on the DCL website at restaurants and it lists an ice cream station with toppings and a smoothie station. We have only sailed the Wonder and there were two soft serve ice cream machines but no toppings and no smoothies that I knew of. Are the ice cream/smoothies on the Dream near the pool area outside the buffet restaurant similar to the Wonder?

There is a soft-serve ice cream station (Eye Scream Treats). Used to have toppings, but it's my understanding that DCL no longer puts toppings out due to problems with kids squirting them everywhere but on the ice cream.

Smoothies (at Frozone Treats) have an extra cost, I believe.

On sea days on the Magic they had ice cream (not soft serve) and toppings in one of the sit down lunch locations. The one with the parrots but looks like completely different now.

Yes, the ice cream station is up right near the pool, but closer to adult pool entrance. It would probably be too congested to put the ice cream right next to the buffet, so it's on the other end of the family pool. No extra cost, or toppings. Your choice of cone or bowl, if I remember correctly; it was only a month ago, but I always went for a cone!

All the DCL cruises we've been on the cones ran out the first day. And this was on the smaller ships. I hope we have better luck on the big ships.

The Dream in October had them for the entire sailing. My sister and I were trying to eat our way through their supply :lmao: I don't know how many we had over 4 days.

Don't forget to order Mickey bars from room service....my favourite.

Yep we did try to eat out way through the supply! It was such a nice treat whilst hanging out on deck after dinner!

Thanks for the picture! On the Wonder we got the "special" coconut and banana soft serve that they serve at Castaway on the ship that day too. Is that common on all the ships? That is my top craving for the trip :)

Smoothies sadly are an extra cost I really wanted one on the Wonder, but was not willing to pay the extra charge.:(
