ICE at Gaylord Palms

Ice looks so neat, I want to take my kids this year! I have a few questions I'm hoping those who have been might be able to answer...

Is it better to go in the day or at night? Read that there are parts lit up so I thought it may be better to go at night.

I read they provide jackets, do they have pooh(plus) sized jackets? We are FL residents, I havent owned a jacket in over 10-12 years!! LOL!

The ICE portion is indoors so it looks the same whether it is day or night, BUT to really appreciate all of the other decorations in and around the Gaylord Palms resort it is better to go at night! :thumbsup2

And yes, they do have Pooh sized jackets...I didn't see anyone have a problem getting a jacket that would fit them, and they have people in the jacket area to help you find the size you need.

I can answer that. It doesn't matter if you go day or night, there are no windows in the ice area, it is all stage lit. And yes, they do provide coats for us pooh girls. I'm a pooh girl too and was warm and toasty. Have fun. Being from close by, you may wish to go see it according to the crowds and not on the weekends which I imagine get pretty busy.

Does anyone know how crowded it is Christmas Eve day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas? I'd like for us to go and am trying to figure out when. :santa:

THANKS so much for the info & advice!:cool1:

We're going Thanksgiving Day till Dec 2nd... trying to fit this into my schedule... either for Thanksgiving night, or maybe late morning/early afternoon on that Sunday or Monday. Anyone have any idea what their hours are? are they opened mainly daytime or evenings, and does that depend on whether it's a weekend or weekday?

Staying at Pop - looks like a quick cab ride over.

How long do you usually spend in there? Have three little kids - will they love it and appreciate it?

We went last year and it was fun. We did have to wait in a long line to get in even with advance tickets. I believe around $20 per person. We were off-site when we did this so not sure I would pay Disney Resort prices to leave the resort.

Parkas in all sizes.

It was very cold in there.
