OK, so we rode It's a Small World a number of times last week while we were at MK and I could not see Canada anywhere? I am feeling really dumb because I am sure it is there somewhere - can anyone let me in on the secret?

I think we're Innuit on that ride...near Igloos. Seriously. Does anyone have a better memory than me? I was kind of expecting Mounties.

I have to go and clean my Igloo and feed my moose now. ;)

Strange...usually I really try to pay attention to see signs of Canada....

On that ride, after the second room, I just start to think of what it would be like if the boats got stuck....for a long time.....yikes !

Regardless, I always make our whole group go on each time. It isn't a trip to MK without it. When it was closed for reburbishment in Nov of 2004 our kids were really disappointed....or pretended to be ?

I think they used to have Mounties before the refurbishment. I think now its Innuit.

We were looking all over last week. A friend had told us they thought Canada was now missing so we were on the hunt! There was no actual Canada display that we could see - perhaps we are now only included at the end with in the mix of North American looking dolls.
BYW - My four year old's reaction to the ride "It was a little bit freaky but pretty good - no, I don't think I want to ride it again. . ."

I remember seeing a waterfall on the ride which I thought was Niagara Falls but I could be wrong. I loved this ride - very cute but the song tends to stay in your head for hours!

I always thought we were the icy white wintery snowy display :rotfl:

I've always thought that we just "weren't in there". We've looked many, many times, and I had very high hopes while the refurb was going on.

Well, I'm glad I am not crazy or blind - but I am also disappointed that, being their northern neighbour we didn't rate a spot. I would think mounties/moose/igloos were a shoe-in. Ah well, it's an annoying ride anyway LOL. ;)

I've always called the little girl with the rope lasso and the cowboy hat (dressed in white, I think) as our 'Canadian contingent'.

We rode it the other day and I had the same reaction...after it was over I turned to her and said "Hey-where was Canada...there used to be Mounties!" She wasn't sure, so I'm glad others noticed that too. If the Innuit are supposed to represent Canada then that's fine...it's a little subtle that's all. Mounties are so iconic. Although Disney used to have exclusive marketing rights for all things Mountie and the RCMP cancelled that deal a few years back...coincidence?
