IASW observation

Hi all~

We just came back from a trip in June and I noticed that on IASW one of the dolls (that is in the air-above your head) has one brown eye and one blue eye. Has anyone else noticed this?

Just wondering.....I thought it looked weird.

Hmmm... I'll have to look for that when I go next month... though, I think all of those dolls look weird (they scare me-- they remind me of Chucky )

Last time we were there, I really thought that there were several dolls that needed some thorough cleaning. Unlike a lot of people, I like this ride because of the sentimental reasons, but it really needs a serious cleaning and update!! :thewave:

Not sure when you went last but it just had a cleaning and opened back up early this year.

We were there in Jan of "04, I'm glad to hear that they have cleaned up!! Some of those dolls were gross!!

What's weird about having 2 different colored eyes? My dad has 1 blue eye & 1 brown eye. Also, the lady that took care of both of my children had 1 blue & 1 brown eye. She was always very shy about it, but I told her she should not be ashamed of it - it just makes her more unique!! I think it's pretty cool myself!!

Im guessing they want to represent everyone. Ive seen a few people who have one blue and one brown eye before-its pretty cool looking actually.

I certainly hope I didn't offend....I was merely commenting that I thought that the "doll" looked weird - I was not making any judgement on people with two different eye colors.

Something else I noticed...

Rememer at the end of the attraction, where the walls have the different ways of saying "Good Bye" in different languages?

Before the update, there was one there that always made me chuckle. I'm not sure what language it was, but it was something like this (spelling may be incorrect) "Say wat de krap". It's not there anymore.

Anyone remember this, or am I crazy? (or all of the above)

Never noticed that doll but I went to high school with a girl who had one blue eye and one brown. It made her very memorable! To this day (15 years later) I remember her name...Katharina Jones!

That's interesting about the people with two differant colored eye's. The only people I have met who had that actually had cancer when they were children and it was caused by the medications they were on.
