I you were renting a car, and staying offsite, Would you consider flying into Melboure fl if the flight was cheaper?

Are rental cars going to cost way more there? Is the drive way way longer or more complicated?

Any other considerations?

I haven't flown into Melbourne airport but just to give you an idea. Booking a compact today at MCO from Feb 4 - 11th is $84.12 inc taxes using Costco ID 7014627 and E-Coupon AD2359FDF for $35.00 off. At Melbourne for same dates is $239.77 inc taxes.

I would check out ALL prices before making the decision.

I once flew into the Ontario airport for a Disneyland trip, thinking that all the shuttle prices would be the same, because the Ontario rates were so much lower than LAX and SNA. They were not. I paid SuperShuttle FAR more from Ontario than I would have paid from LAX or SNA, and I didn't end up saving any money like I thought I would.

Check it out, specifically for your dates, thoroughly!
