A ceiling fan in my living room. Really, who designed this apartment building in south Texas with vaulted ceilings and one A/C vent in the living room?!? It gets to 85 in here!

RIGHT? Or a Monday. DH gets two days off being in the military and they are Wednesday/Thursday this year. Thankfully he was the first to put in leave for Friday so he gets 5 days off for the price of one.

I always enjoyed having a midweek break when I was working full time. But then, I didn't really have anywhere to go for a long weekend, and I'm also the one person who used to get excited to have a day off and sit down to watch all the cheesy old game shows I never could see, only to discover the networks thought football and parade coverage would be more popular! So I totally understand I'm in the minority here.

You know what else I would really like (to get back on topic?) To visit Cars Land!

Bahahhaaa...my dog gets major gas from chicken. Funny thing is, he LOVES broccoli, yet it doesn't give him gas.

My dog is on a low fat RX diet(he's not heavy, he just doesn't tollerate fat very well) so when he has something with grease or a lot of animal fat in it, it gets a little scary.

I would like for the roofers to finish the roof today! I live in S Texas and we were hit with two hail storms within 30 days of each other. Finally decided to get it fixed. Yesterday they showed up in the morning and left almost at 9 PM. Today, they arrived at 7:30 am! The constant pounding on the roof is driving me nuts. Not to mention having one very playful out side dog inside the house. Yesterday while I took a shower he tore one of the arms of the leather couch

I would like to add this-

I would really like it if my BIL would stop using me as a free babysitter. Just because we live in the same house(long story) does NOT mean that I want to take care of his kids while he and his deadbeat GF sleep the day away. It doesn't matter if I have "take care of my kids anyway"(his words to DH), four kids at 6am is a PITA. (oh yeah...they are 5,5,4, and 6)

***I love my nieces and it is not a huge deal to care for them, but a "thank you" or "hey do you mind watching the girls?" goes a long way.
