I won the Florida lottery on Wed. night! Really!

The bad news: I was one number away for winning $6 million. I got 5 out of the 6 numbers correct.

The good news: I won $5,301.50

The bad news: the government got $1325.38 of it

The good news: I got a check for $3976.12 this morning

I'm happy about that but still would have liked to be a multi-millionaire. But still, I'm pretty thrilled about the windfall.

Do you always play the same numbers and realized immediately that you won something or did you have to check them? You probably couldn't believe it.
I have never won that kind of money...usually $1.00 on the scratch offs which I keep checking before I chuck them just in case I missed something.... As for not winning the millions...there is always next time. Have fun spending.

Nah, I just played random numbers. No rhyme or reason behind them. I didn't check the numbers on Wednesday night and just checked them on Thursday night via the web. I went this morning and they cut me a check while I was there.

We don't have a lottery in Hawaii nor any Casinos. Guess that is why they
call Las Vegas Hawaii's missing island. If you go to any of the downtown Casinos you will be sure to see a lot of Hawaiians.

If we had a lottery and if I won the amount you did, I would consider it free money and destined to pay for a trip to Universal for us. So I think you should splurge it on something that will make you very happy. You deserve it!
