GOT MY UPDATE FROM DISNEY !!!!

They are putting us up at the DISNEY GRAND CALIFORNIAN RESORT & DISNEY'S YACHT CLUB RESORT

I really think I'm going to faint....

WOW, deluxe resorts yet!! You really hit the jackpot!!

That is awesome congrats. I entered too, so guess I didn't win. Next time. My friends are able to stay at the Grand all the time. They won't stay anywhere else you will love it. Give us a trip report.

I asked to extend my trip one day in Orlando leaving on Saturday The room cost will be my responsibility but it is worth it!!!

No I haven't. From what the FAQ page said it looks like it will take a few weeks to confirm the air reservations.

I am too excited. I haven't heard from the rep yet but I bet that they are based in California so I'm hoping to hear from them this morning.

Trish, did they tell you right away how much it would cost for an additional day to stay? Or are you waiting to hear back from them? I wasn't too sure if they would be open to any changes.

The Disney rep is out of Florida I believe. I'm sure you will hear soon.

You should see myself when I see someone that I haven't told...I have a bubbly personality so I get so excited and next thing I know the person I'm telling is jumping up and down too

We told our daughter last night and she was already making her list of what to pack. She is so excited. I've been wanting to take her there for so long and we haven't been able to do it financially. Now we can and I am SO thankful!

Gives me the incentive to entry things again. I kind of gave up.

You will LOVE the Grand Californian. That is the only place we stay at DL now too.....well love it so much, we bought DVC just to get it when it became available.

You will all have a great trip!! Lots to cram into those days, so I am sure you will be very busy!

My youngest daughter (6 years old) started packing her carry on earlier in the week. I got too tired trying to convince her it wasn't time yet...so I just let her keep going

But to be honest, I am as excited as she is!
